GOD'S LOVE

"The Words to Say I Love You"

I was there, yet you did not see Me -

the times you did cry.

I wrapped you in My loving arms,

and wiped the tears from your eyes.

Every prayer - I heard, and answered.

Every cry for help - I came.

I cast down all your enemies,

and brought them all to shame.

You are My beloved son,

whom I have set free.

I removed your chains of darkness

because you believed in Me.

I Am in you, and you in Me.

None can take us apart.

Where are the words to express My love?

They are written on your heart.

"If it Wasn't for Jesus"

If it wasn't for Jesus,

we couldn't see God's face -

we couldn't be forgiven -

we couldn't receive grace.

If it wasn't for Jesus,

we couldn't hear God's voice -

we couldn't know the Way -

we couldn't make a choice.

If it wasn't for Jesus,

we couldn't feel God's touch -

we couldn't know His love...

we couldn't see how much.

If it wasn't for Jesus,

we couldn't find one to die -

we couldn't save ourselves -

we couldn't if we try.

If it wasn't for Jesus,

we couldn't know God's heart -

we couldn't inherit riches -

we couldn't have a part.

If it wasn't for Jesus,

we couldn't hold God's hand -

we couldn't be in His arms -

we couldn't see Him as man.

If it wasn't for Jesus,

we couldn't be saved -

we couldn't find one perfect -

we couldn't...but He gave.

"You Used To"

You used to get on your knees to pray.

Your tears would cover your bed.

Your words would touch My heart...

Do you remember what you said?

"Lord, I've been hurt a lot in life.

Pain that no one should go through.

But my brokenness was worth it

because it meant me finding You."

You loved Me so much

that you put Me first in your day.

Every morning, you'd spend time with Me

in the secret place, you'd stay.

You said you delighted in Me,

and sought Me with your heart.

You'd sing songs, read My Word,

and said nothing would keep us apart.

But only time would prove that true.

It took a blessing from Me to see.

I answered a prayer of your desire

to know if you'd still love Me.

It wasn't long before you drifted away,

after receiving My gift to you.

My heart has not stopped grieving

since I found your words not true.

"I Love You"

My child, I love you -

no matter what you say or do.

I understand temptation,

and the struggles you go through.

You don't have to do anything

to make Me love you more.

You don't have to go to church

or give to the poor.

Neither will I love you less

if you don't do holy things.

My child, because of you,

My heart always sings.

I don't burn with anger

or punish when you sin.

I don't expect you to be perfect

in this fallen world you're in.

But, I desire you to grow

as My Word helps you do.

I want the best for My children

more than parents want, too.

My love doesn't change.

It was - is - and will be.

It isn't like human love.

It's perfect - you see.

I look at you and smile.

My thoughts of you are many.

You're My treasured creation.

A masterpiece unlike any.

My child, I love you -

no matter what you've said or done.

You are a part of Me -

My daughter and My son.

"The Ways I Speak"

I speak in a love song

or through a preacher on T.V.

I speak through people -

someone you can see.

I speak in a hug, a gift,

or a special telephone call.

I speak when one does good to you,

without a reason at all.

I speak in the Bible

or an inspiring book you read.

I speak in godly thoughts

or an idea that you need.

I speak to get your attention

in a trying circumstance.

I speak for correction

to give you another chance.

I speak to you in dreams

or show signs and mysteries.

I speak what's right and wrong.

Your conscious?  Yes, that's Me.

I speak in an audible voice,

but it's not often, today.

I speak in a still, small voice.

My Spirit in you is now My way.

I speak when you feel My presence,

and want you to talk, too.

I gave My only Son

to have a relationship with you.

Seek Me - you'll find Me.

Call on Me - I come.

Listen to your heart -

that's where My voice comes from.

"I Laugh Too"

Many think I never smile -

never laugh - never sing.

They believe I'm a quiet God -

A mild-mannered King.

Yes, I did My Father's Will

to heal, love, and teach.

Thousands heard My voice -

it magnified when I'd preach.

Those years of long ago,

When I was Son of man.

I remember all the children -

we danced, played, and ran.

Each child, I'd hold their hand,

and blessed them, one by one.

I'd swing them around -

it was a lot of fun!

My disciples and My friends,

daily, stayed with Me.

We laughed and told stories.

They loved My company.

Get to know Me, child.

I have joy just like you.

Yes, I can be serious,

but I can be happy, too.

"I Am a Happy Father"

Oh, how I love your worship!

My angels sing with you.

They dance right by your side.

I'm even dancing, too!

You bless Me, My child.

Thank you for your praise.

The tears on your face, so precious,

with both arms raised.

Every time you sing to Me,

I record that day and hour.

Your sacrifice received.

In return, your heart's desire.

My pleasure is to bless,

and give you all you need.

I'll reward and I'll surprise

because you delight in Me.

"Your Maker is Your Husband"

When a woman loves her husband,

there are things she will do.

And these things she does,

are what you should do for Me, too.

That woman spends time with her husband,

enjoying him every day -

so you should spend time in My Word,

and make time to pray.

That woman holds her husband,

and clings, sings, and plays -

so you should desire Me,

arms reached out and raised.

That woman gives gifts to her husband

because she loves to surprise -

so you should give Me your heart,

your time, talent, and tithes.

That woman waits on her husband -

helping him is what she'll do -

so you should serve Me by serving others -

using what I gave you.

That woman is loyal to her husband.

She's devoted, and won't go astray -

so you should be faithful to Me.

Don't love the world, and run away.

That woman defends her husband.

Her words of him are good -

so you should speak up for Me,

and be a witness, if you would.

That woman talks to her husband -

Her heart and soul, she'll express -

so you should talk to Me,

and not just ask to be blessed.

That woman wears her ring.

She lets the world know she's a wife -

so you shouldn't try to hide Me

or be ashamed I'm in your life.

"I Need You"

I need your warm smile

to soothe wounded souls.

It's a medicine I use

for hurts, pains, and woes.

I need your tender heart

so they feel loved by you.

To all you care for,

they'll feel My love, too.

I need your voice

to encourage and teach.

I'll speak through you

to minister and preach.

I need your personality

for people to relate.

They'll follow your example,

and stop doing things I hate.

I need your Christlike character -

the way you live every day.

Your actions speak louder

than most words can say.

I need your testimony

to be a witness that I'm real -

living proof of My power

to save, change lives, and heal.

I need your life experiences -

a past of sin and mistakes.

To guide those in the same.

Your wisdom they might take.

I need your gifts and talents.

Serving others is My Will.

Through the work you do,

I bless people with your skill.

I need your arms and hands

to comfort young and old.

And I embrace that person

you lovingly, hold.

I need your feet for traveling

to every destination.

To help spread the gospel,

and save souls to every nation.

You are My Body.

I work through what you do.

Every part is so important -

that's why I need all of you.

"Want"

Do you want to feel My love?

Do you want answers to your prayers?

Do you want help in troubled times?

Do you want someone who cares?

Do you want healing in your body?

Do you want to be set free?

Do you want miracles in your life?

Do you want more of Me?

Do you want to hear My voice?

Do you want peace and rest?

Do you want financial provision?

Do you want to be more blessed?

Do you want time for yourself?

Do you want a relationship to restore?

Do you want to never be alone?

Do you want to know Me more?

Do you want joy instead of sadness?

Do you want My anointing on you?

Do you want to know your gifts?

Do you want dreams to come true?

Do you want what I want?

More than you want from Me?

Don't just seek My hands.

Seek Me, wholeheartedly.

My love is so deep, so strong -

so high, so wide, so true.

And I, too, have a want...

I want the heart in you.

"I Remember Your Sins No More"

When you repent,

I remember no more.

If I didn't die to forgive sins,

tell me what I died for.

Who likes to remember bad things

that their child has done?

I erase My memory

because I love you, My son.

When the devil brings up your past

to remind you of a sin;

he hopes you'll condemn yourself,

and think of where you've been.

Don't punish yourself, My child.

You remember, but I do not.

From the moment you repent,

was when I forgot.

There is great power

in the blood I shed for you.

I took your punishment on Myself

so you wouldn't have to.

"Anyway"

Life isn't easy.

Trials will come your way.

When you feel like giving up.

Smile anyway.

If you're barely getting by,

and debts are hard to pay.

Then someone asks you for a need.

Give anyway.

Many will bring you down

by the negative words they say -

"Don't get your hopes up."

Hope anyway.

If someone comes against you,

and you're tempted to repay.

Choose to do what's right.

Forgive anyway.

When life hits your weakness,

and the ground is where you lay.

Then you call it quits.

Stand up anyway.

If you think I don't hear

or it seems I'm far away.

No matter how you feel.

Pray anyway.

The flesh is weak,

so come to Me each day.

If you were the worst sinner,

I'd love you anyway.

"I Miss You"

Beloved, please pray.

Talk to Me more than you do.

You treat Me like a stranger;

like someone you never knew.

Spend more time with Me.

Tell Me your hopes and dreams.

Am I only called for help?

At least that's how it seems.

Let Me in your life,

and be a part of every day.

I'll bring peace to you at work,

and more joy in your play.

I wait weeks to hear from you -

sometimes even more.

But I'll be here for you

because that's what friends are for.

"Cry of My Heart"

I love all people,

but I wish they all loved Me.

Sin kills My creation.

I never wanted this to be.

My angels are at work,

urging souls to seek My face.

My Spirit moves across the Earth

to teach them of My grace.

Soon, I'll crush Satan

for the death of man.

He'll taste My revenge -

for it is written in My plan.

I must save the lost.

They are blind and cannot see.

If only they knew that Hell awaits

for those who don't know Me.

Out of love, I died for all

created by My hand.

I want the world to repent.

I need them to understand.

The time is drawing closer.

I've lost too many souls.

It grieves to lose another.

It hurts more than they know.
