SUICIDAL, DEPRESSION, SADNESS, LONELINESS & WORRY

"Live and Not Die"

Why end your life?

Is it love, you never had?

You and many others hurt

with good reason to be sad.

People around the world

have it hard just like you.

Know that you're not alone -

that they're crying, too.

Even the rich have wants,

and all will go through pain.

But enduring to the end,

Heaven is their gain.

Don't give up, My child.

Just keep holding on.

If the devil steals your life,

you'll regret it when it's gone.

On the day you were born,

I gave life to you.

Don't throw away My gift.

My heart would break if you do.

I want you to breathe -

to live, and not die;

And the day I call you home,

I'll wipe the tears from your eye.

Inspirational Quotes:

"If your heart is beating, God wants you here."

"If you look at your fingerprints, you'll catch a glimpse

of how wonderfully unique, and one of a kind you are,

out of all the people ever born or ever will be."

"Don't think you're an accident or a mistake

or think you have no purpose or worth;

you have fingerprints that no one else has -

from your Maker, given to you at birth."

*Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

(Psalm 126:5)

*The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;

He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

(Psalm 34:18)

*And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

(Rev. 21:4)

*A Personal Note from Jennifer:

If you would like me to pray for you or for someone you know, who are struggling with suicidal thoughts, please email me the first name with prayer request at: godsloveinpoetry@gmail.com

Or Prayer Chain Online

Or reddit.com ("Prayer Requests" or "Prayer Team" subreddit)

Or there are many Christian ministries online who will pray for you or for your loved one.

Deliverance is needed, along with prayer.
Oppression, depression, and possession is of/from the devil. (Acts 10:38)
*A Christian cannot be possessed, as they have the Spirit of God inside of them.  However, they can be oppressed and depressed.

For self-deliverance:
1. Repentance.
2. I recommend reading out loud, daily, John Eckhardt's book, "Prayers that Rout Demons."  On YouTube, this book can also be listened to.

I've personally had struggles with depression/suicidal thoughts in the past ~ I think many of us have at some point in our lives ~ but I've never spent any (growing up) or a great amount of time in front of a screen (TV, Computer, Phone, etc.).  Today, as I am aware of people battling suicide, any social interaction is avoided in their life or cannot be attained, thus, their sense of  "escape" is by another way ~ screens.  I suggest some ideas below, and to push out of a comfort zone...

Some ideas are (if a person is able):
Retreating to a new/different/better/peaceful environment (away from negative personalities/influences), consider daylight light bulbs to lighten the home, reading Christian books, writing (journaling/poetry, songwriting, writing someone a letter, etc.), drawing/painting/coloring (art), puzzles, playing a board game/cards with someone, starting a business, money-making ideas/selling/i.e. eBay, Etsy, etc., being creative/creating/finding a hobby/building/learning something new/work on a skill, crafts, sewing, self-improvement (beauty), volunteer, seek out and pray for/help those who are poor, weak, suffering, and those who are less fortunate, singing, play (or learn to play) a musical instrument, listening to positive/uplifting music, spending time outdoors (in nature/a lake), sunshine, pool, hot tub, fishing, sports, walking, exercising, an outdoor activity (gardening, swinging, etc.), cleaning, repairing/remodeling/maintenance, call someone to lift them up/to encourage/to say thank you/to tell them you love them, helping someone, saying a kind word to someone, spending time with someone (even a child - holding them/playing/teaching/reading to them), buying something (a gift) for someone or giving to someone in need/donate, therapeutic massagers for home, obtaining a fish aquarium can be very therapeutic, and all pets are a great therapy for people; even plants/flowers.  What do you like to do?  What are your interests?  What do you do well?  This list of creativity, and selflessness can go on and on (excessive thoughts on our self always leads to depression)  My best suggestions are praying (talking to God), and reading the Holy Bible/God's Promises (Bible Verses); as well as getting enough sleep/rest each night.  If you need help in getting a good night's sleep, consider trying: limiting screen time during the day - especially near bedtime, sleep in a dark room with white noise sounds, such as a fan, a sound soother, etc., and taking a magnesium supplement/powder, and milk/mix with milk before bed. (calcium & magnesium are excellent sleep aids)  For a stronger help with sleep, I suggest a melatonin supplement/liquid.  However, every person is different - always pray, and follow the Holy Spirit's leading in everything.  Additionally, EMF/radiation/smart meters are very dangerous, and have been affecting many peoples' sleep, causing depression, and various health problems; therefore, protection, along with Global Healing EDTA - a heavy metal detox, would be beneficial.  (I suggest researching on this topic; some people are more sensitive to EMF/radiation than others)

Further suggestions are listening to motivational speeches (see below), God's Word (audio), and/or speaking God's Word out loud (positive confessions over oneself).  There is power in God's Word when spoken out of our mouths...it's a spiritual law, and this works in the opposite, as well; many times, we curse ourselves by negative words spoken out of our own mouths.).

I have steered/guided people off the "road" to suicide, and this was done by extending my love and the love of God to them, and by praying for them.  Many of us, who have had suicide battles in life, have been neglected of love in the past, thus, love is very important to anyone struggling with depression/suicide.  As humans, we are "built" to love and to be loved, for God is love, and we come from Him, and are made in His image.

*If you struggle with jealousy (comparing yourself with others), please be encouraged -

You do have a purpose.

"The Father has set a course before you, designed exclusively for you to travel; He has planned tasks for you that are yours alone to complete.  And He has given you exactly what He intended for you to have as the gifts, background, and abilities needed to fulfill His purposes for you.  You know that person you keep comparing yourself to?  That person would never be able to complete the plan God has for you.  Because the Father has created you for that role."  *By Dr. Charles F. Stanley

Prayer:  "Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to be all that You created me to be, in Jesus name.  Amen."

"Conversation with God"

"Jesus, where are you?"

I cried out to the Lord.

"Don't you know I need you?

Don't you love me anymore?"

"Please listen, beloved.

I Am always here for you.

Why question My love?

You know that I do."

"Then, why the silence?

Why am I in pain?

I've prayed, and there's no answer.

I've asked in Your name!"

"Child, where is your faith?

Don't you trust in Me?

Am I a God too small for you

that makes you not believe?"

"I'm sorry for doubting, Lord.

Life made me this way.

I feel like You're punishing me,

and this price I must pay."

"I paid that price on your behalf.

In love, I wanted to.

I came to save the world;

My pleasure dying for you."

"Believe you are forgiven,

and your sins are washed away.

Faith is key to Heaven's door

to receive what you pray."

"A Way Out of Depression"

"God, I need Your help.

I'm hurting so bad.

The pain makes me complain,

cry or get mad.

I've made mistakes.

I feel the guilt and shame.

I can't go back and fix things.

I'm the one to blame.

God, what do I do?

I've done all I can.

I tried facing the Accuser,

but instead, I just ran.

Erase painful memories

that haunt me - even now.

I try to forget,

but I just don't know how.

I must live each day

as if it is my last.

I need to forgive myself,

and stop dwelling on my past.

There's a way out of depression...

Lord, open my eyes to see -

that there are people suffering

much more than me."

"Walk Away"

How can I do something new in your life

if you keep dwelling on your past?

You've told Me before that you're moving on,

but how long did that last?

Why are you still mourning

over the one who broke your heart?

Why do you meditate memories

that only tear you apart?

I hurt every time you hurt.

Yes, I have feelings too.

Can a Father smile when His child is sad?

I care so deeply for you.

When you cry, I cry back,

"Don't let your past destroy today!"

Shake the dust off your feet.

Bury the ashes, and walk away.

I can't pour out My blessings

if your thoughts are not made new.

Can I give you clean water

if an old cup I pour into?

If you would forgive yourself,

and stop blaming Me.

If you forgive who hurt you,

you'd live again and be free.

Try again, My child.

Now, leave your past behind.

Move on, and don't look back.

A new life is what you'll find.

"Smile for Me"

Why do you remain unhappy?

Who told you to despair?

It saddens Me to see your face,

but you are not aware.

My children are depressed

for reasons that I'm blamed.

They think they're not forgiven.

They feel so ashamed.

Please believe in My mercy.

Forget about your sin.

I did when you repented.

Remembering not since then.

Oh, beloved, smile for Me!

Do not cry anymore.

Just laugh and be free -

that's what I died for.

"No More Tears"

Feel lonely and unloved?  You're not alone.

Think no one cares?  Child, you are My own.

Consider what matters to Me...

I'm concerned about souls - you see.

It's not about finding a friend.

It's seeking the lost in this world you're in.

No one can love you the way I do.

Be My friend and take your eyes off you.

Hell is real, but not many know.

Please show them how not to go.

You're My voice, hands, and feet.

Save souls for Me, and soon we'll meet.

No more sorrow in just a while.

You're going home, and there you'll smile.

"Do Not Worry"

If you had one month to live,

would you worry anymore?

Would you still be depressed

about always being poor?

Your life is more important

than clothes you have on;

it's worth more than money -

You save, but then it's gone.

Why worry about tomorrow

or worry about the rest?

You've been given Life,

and rights to be blessed.

Seek first My kingdom.

Cast your cares on Me.

My peace I give to you,

and all that you need.

Many times, I help someone,

and they forget the next day.

They return to worrying

about the next bill to pay.

Remember all My benefits.

Set your mind on things above.

Do not focus on your fears,

but trust in My love.
