LITTLE ARMS (Mother and Son poem)

 "Little Arms"

Little Arms wrapped himself around me,
and squeezed as tight as he could;
"I love you, Mama," said Little Arms.
"I love you, Son - you be good."

And off he went, as he skipped away,
with a smile as big as God's heart;
yes, Little Arms held closely to Mama -
never for long, did he part.

Years went by, and Little Arms grew,
as Mama rocked in her chair;
"I love you, Mama, so much...
I'll hold you even to your gray hair."

"My Son, the day is coming
when Mama won't be here;
but Jesus' arms will take my place,
wiping away your tear."
