GOD IN THE SKY (Poetic True Story)

 "God in the Sky"

(A Poetic True Story)

God shows no favoritism -

only humans do.

I know someone not known in the world,

but God, they knew.

She praised her God...

Christ appeared in the sky.

Clouds formed His face,

as she lifted her head high.

Her song continued.

A crown rested on His head.

No flesh stands in God's presence.

Any would fall down dead.

Yet, God inhabits His praises,

and reveals Himself who seek.

By hiding His glory in the clouds,

she would not feel weak.

By Jennifer Lynn O'Connor

*This poem was inspired by a memory of a great cloud of King Jesus, wearing a great crown, appearing in the sky on two different occasions.

The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.

(Psalm 14:2 NLT)

He is a rewarder of them that seek Him.

(Hebrews 11:6)

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.

(Lamentations 3:25)

If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.

(Jeremiah 29:13 NLT)

You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.

(Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

You will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

(Deuteronomy 4:29)

For God does not show favoritism.

(Romans 2:11)

For there is no respect of persons with God.

(Romans 2:11 KJV, 1599 Geneva Bible)

And remember that the Heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites.

(1 Peter 1:17)

"He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest (reveal) Myself to him.”

(John 14:21 NKJV)

"Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love them and show Myself to them.”

(John 14:21 NIV)

Why do you hide Your face?

(Job 13:24)

And when He hides His face, who then can see Him?

(Job 34:29)

Truly, You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, the Savior.

(Isaiah 45:15)

I love those who love Me,

and those who seek Me find Me.

(Proverbs 8:17)

 "Seek, and you will find."

(Matthew 7:7)
