The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.
(Psalm 14:2 NLT)

This has been my favorite book for decades.

I encourage everyone to have a copy,

and to read it again and again;

along with the Holy Bible, which is

to be read and studied, daily, for spiritual growth,

and continued renewal of the mind.

1 Corinthians 13

Holy Bible Living Water NEW LIVING TRANSLATION

If I could speak in any language in heaven or on

earth but didn't love others, I would only be making meaningless

noise like a loud gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift

of prophecy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew

everything about everything, but didn't love others, what good

would I be? And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a

mountain and make it move, without love I would be no good

to anybody. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even

sacrificed my body, I could boast about it, but if I didn't

love others, I would be of no value whatsoever. Love is patient

and kind. Love is not jealouor boastful or proud or rude.

Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and

it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad

about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love

never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures

through every circumstance. Love will last forever, but prophecy

and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge

will all disappear. Now we know only a little, and even the gift of

prophecy reveals little! But when the end comes,

these special gifts will all disappear.

...

There are three things that will endure - faith, hope, and love -

and the greatest of these is love.

LITTLE ARMS (Mother and Son poem)

 "Little Arms"

Little Arms wrapped himself around me,
and squeezed as tight as he could;
"I love you, Mama," said Little Arms.
"I love you, Son - you be good."

And off he went, as he skipped away,
with a smile as big as God's heart;
yes, Little Arms held closely to Mama -
never for long, did he part.

Years went by, and Little Arms grew,
as Mama rocked in her chair;
"I love you, Mama, so much...
I'll hold you even to your gray hair."

"My Son, the day is coming
when Mama won't be here;
but Jesus' arms will take my place,
wiping away your tear."

DEAR READER,

It's a miracle that I'm alive today - I'm sure many
of us can say the same thing.  I've had my personal
close encounters of dying, and I have fought many
rounds with the enemy, fighting for my own life.
Over and over again, the devil has tried to take me
out, and by God's grace, I'm alive today.  I grew up
in - what I call - a "Hell Home."  Me, being a
Christian, after all of these years, is itself, a miracle.
At the start of every day, I pray on my knees, and
thank God for all He has done for me, given to me,
and for graciously, giving me another day.
Today, I understand what is most important to Him -
souls.  He desires to use my past - for I was
snatched from fire by the grace of God, (Jude 1:23)
and He wants people to know what His Word says
about Hell.  I can write countless poems, quotes,
and stories...I can be the greatest poet or writer
ever lived, and that would mean nothing to me.
What counts is a soul.  Have I reached the lost?
Have I lived my life, selflessly, loving people?
Please join me, and share the HELL IS REAL
page.  Most important of all, love one another
deeply, with all your heart, for love covers a
multitude of sins.  (1 Peter 4:8)

GOD IN THE SKY (Poetic True Story)

 "God in the Sky"

(A Poetic True Story)

God shows no favoritism -

only humans do.

I know someone not known in the world,

but God, they knew.

She praised her God...

Christ appeared in the sky.

Clouds formed His face,

as she lifted her head high.

Her song continued.

A crown rested on His head.

No flesh stands in God's presence.

Any would fall down dead.

Yet, God inhabits His praises,

and reveals Himself who seek.

By hiding His glory in the clouds,

she would not feel weak.

By Jennifer Lynn O'Connor

*This poem was inspired by a memory of a great cloud of King Jesus, wearing a great crown, appearing in the sky on two different occasions.

The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.

(Psalm 14:2 NLT)

He is a rewarder of them that seek Him.

(Hebrews 11:6)

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him.

(Lamentations 3:25)

If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.

(Jeremiah 29:13 NLT)

You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.

(Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

You will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

(Deuteronomy 4:29)

For God does not show favoritism.

(Romans 2:11)

For there is no respect of persons with God.

(Romans 2:11 KJV, 1599 Geneva Bible)

And remember that the Heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites.

(1 Peter 1:17)

"He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest (reveal) Myself to him.”

(John 14:21 NKJV)

"Whoever has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love them and show Myself to them.”

(John 14:21 NIV)

Why do you hide Your face?

(Job 13:24)

And when He hides His face, who then can see Him?

(Job 34:29)

Truly, You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, the Savior.

(Isaiah 45:15)

I love those who love Me,

and those who seek Me find Me.

(Proverbs 8:17)

 "Seek, and you will find."

MY STORY "Broken Heart Born Again" + DRAWINGS

The Parable of the Good Samaritan
Luke 10:25-37

MY STORY

"Broken Heart Born Again"

(Jennifer Lynn O'Connor's True Story)

There once was a girl named Broken Heart, who was-even before she was born, unplanned, unwanted, and unloved. She spent much of her time, alone, as her family was just as broken as her little heart. Broken Heart was very familiar with many sins, and thus practiced them at a very early age. Years went by, and at times, she wore the name, Wild Heart, when the devil would use her at his will. But once in a while, she had the opportunity to attend a small church, and on one particular occasion, she rode in a church van for a special service. Later, that night, on the way home, Broken Heart became ill from sitting in the back, and was told to sit up front for the remainder of the long ride. For the first time in her life, she was sitting next to a Pastor of a church-someone great in her eyes. As she hoped he would say a word of comfort to her, Broken Heart soon learned, he did not accept her. His words-which were none, spoke to her in a thousand words of judgment and rejection. Later, when Broken Heart became of age, she worked hard in her labor, in hopes to bandage her pain. One day, her boss told her to sit next to a Christian woman, named Ruth. Broken Heart did not want to sit next to Ruth because she feared of being judged again; Broken Heart knew she was a sinner, and surely not as "good" as Ruth. "She won't talk to me," said Broken Heart to herself. Yet, to her surprise, it wasn't long before Ruth broke the ice, and talked to Broken Heart as if they had been friends! Ruth began talking about the Bible with her, and was including Broken Heart in her joy of learning something new! Ruth extended her acceptance, love, and wisdom to Broken Heart. Ruth's joy and smile drew Broken Heart to her, and caused her to open up. She wanted what Ruth had...she needed that joy.

Which one do you think was neighbor to Broken Heart?

You see, like the parable of the Good Samaritan, Broken Heart, too, was hurt, but on the inside. While the Pastor of the church refused to show kindness to Broken Heart-Ruth quickly responded in love to the opportunity given. She surrendered herself to God to be His voice and smile. The Pastor of the church neglected to offer guidance to Broken Heart, nor mercy or love. Criticism kept him from sowing a seed in her heart where the Holy Spirit could work. Yet, Ruth, just an ordinary Christian, with no title to her name, humbled herself to be used by God. She put oil on Broken Heart-the oil of the Holy Spirit, and bandaged her wounds. Years later, God gave Broken Heart a new name...

By Servant's Heart

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
(Psalm 147:3)

The motto of the story: Sow seeds of love because you never know-you might have just planted a tree. (Psalm 1:3; Jeremiah 17:8) Just as trees take years to grow, so also, it takes time for Christians to grow strong in the Lord. Our seeds of love can make a difference in someone's life, when planted in their heart. We may not see or know of their growth in this life, but in Heaven, we will. A seed can be as small as a smile or a few words to edify. Love has the power to open and heal a heart; judgment keeps a heart closed and hardens it.
Let's be God's workers in the field, for the harvest is great,
but the workers are few.
(Matthew 9:37)

He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
(Psalm 1:3)

For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
(Jeremiah 17:8)

My oldest son's drawing when he was 11 years old.
He especially enjoys drawing Israel, as well.

Once, when my oldest son was 6 or 7 years old,
he asked a lady at the store, "Do you know Jesus?"
Little did he know, as I discerned her response,
she was shocked at his question, and offended.
Later, I told him that she will always remember
that moment...and Heaven only knows if he left a
footprint on her heart.
