A Collection of My Inspirational Quotes:
HEALING:
"All healing starts in the heart, and works its way out."
"God's Word always works inside -> out; physical is a manifestation of the spiritual."
(Proverbs 4:20-22) (Proverbs 14:30) (Proverbs 17:22)
(see HEALING page - poem, "The Path to Healing")
HELL:
"It's good to prepare for the future; it's better to prepare for eternity."
"Where you spend eternity is the most serious matter in the world."
"Thank God I'm only passing through, and not going to."
(see "HELL IS REAL - WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS")
WISDOM/DEALING WITH AN OFFENSE:
"Eagles "overlook" chickens; their ways are higher, and they never go down to their "level."
A person’s wisdom yields patience (slow to anger);
it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.
(Proverbs 19:11)
Fools show their annoyance (anger, quick-tempered) at once,
but the wise overlook an insult.
(Proverbs 12:16)
"Give grace - we all have a "disease" called sin, and if
we're not perfect ourselves, why should we expect others to be?"
"Hurting people hurt people."
"Which one do we not like the most...
No "likes." Noone likes us, and what we've said in word
or
Noone likes Jesus, and what He's said in His Word?"
"When we care not what others think of us, but care
about what others think of Jesus, we've matured."
"The more we think of Jesus, the less we think of ourselves and the less we think of what others think of ourselves."
WISDOM/PRAYING:
"It's better to pray at the start of the day than later in the day."
"It's one thing to miss your doctor's appointment;
it's another to miss the King's."
(see WISDOM page - poem, "Appointment with the King")
"We bow our heads more at our phones
than bowing our heads in reverence to God."
"A warrior wears out their knees by praying."
"You don't have to be perfect or have great faith to pray.
Just come as you are, and God will meet you where you are -
He's just happy that you're talking to Him."
"When you feel powerless - PRAY."
Short Powerful Prayers that I personally pray:
"Lord, help me to do those things that You want me to do, and to stop doing those things that You want me to stop doing."
"Holy Spirit, please help me, today." (I pray this, daily.)
"Lord, please bring someone across my path today, whom I can be a blessing to - for Your Glory."
WISDOM/LONG LIFE:
"The secret to a long life is to develop a child-like heart, and you'll never grow old."
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both thou and thou seed may live; by loving the Lord thy God, by obeying his voice, and by cleaving unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days, that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.
(Deut. 30:19-20) 1599 Geneva Bible
"Long Life Bible Verses:"
(Deut. 30:19-20, 1 Kings 3:14, Psalm 91:14,16, Deut. 6:2, Prov. 3:2, 3:16, 4:10, 9:10-11, 10:27)
WISDOM/SUCCESS:
"3 STEPS TO SUCCESS: It's not easy, but here's the test..."
*According to Joshua 1:8, day & night...
1. SPEAK GOD'S WORD
2. THINK GOD'S WORD
3. ACT ON GOD'S WORD
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8 NKJV)
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (Joshua 1:8 NIV)
WISDOM/SLOW DOWN:
"Slow down, stop, and love someone."
"Priceless Hugs. That's what my children's hugs mean to me."
"If there's something you've been wanting to do for someone; don't wait another day...there may not be another day."
WISDOM/"BORN AGAIN":
"When you're "born again," the body doesn't change; the heart just gets cleaned up."
(see WISDOM page - poem, "Born Again")
WISDOM/CHILD OF GOD:
"The physical realm is a mirror of the spiritual realm: On earth, we all start as babes and grow up to adults. The spiritual life is the same; we start as babes in Christ, feed on God's Word, and grow in the Spirit. As children, we are comforted, taught, trained, and corrected. Our baby steps lead us to maturity and holiness; to be like Christ is the goal."
WISDOM/PURPOSE:
"You won't know your purpose in life until you know the One who has a purpose for your life."
"We find our purpose in life by spending time getting to know the One who has a purpose for our life."
Christ, who is our life.
(Col. 3:4)
"There's something that only you can do,
that no one else can;
Don't die like buried treasure.
Build a castle with your sand."
"The Bible is our Life Instructional Manual.
It teaches us how to live. It shows us where
we came from, why we're here, and where we're
going. In it, we'll discover our life's purpose -
living for Jesus, and ending with Jesus."
"Don't think you're an accident or a mistake
or think you have no purpose or worth;
you have fingerprints that no one else has -
from your Maker, given to you at birth."
(see below DEPRESSION/SUICIDAL)
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING:
"When I give love, I've lost nothing."
"Every day is like Christmas - a gift from God;
and in exchange, we give Him our "present."
FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
"If this were my last day...if this I knew;
what would I do differently; oh, soul, what would I do?"
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING:
"Earth is a school; the Holy Spirit helps us learn.
We grow in love, pass, and rewards, we earn."
"Even our children are tools that God uses to help mold
us into the image of Christ; yes, while we know that our
children learn from us, we're also learning from them."
God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless (weak) to shame those who are powerful.
(1 Corinthians 1:27)
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
(Romans 8:29)
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
(2 Corinthians 3:18)
"When we see ourselves as God's royal servants, we have grown well."
(1 Peter 2:9) (1 Peter 2:16)
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING:
"Praying and reading the Bible go hand in hand; without one, we'll struggle, and life will be difficult. Without both, how hard life would be! But if we work with both hands, life is so much easier."
"Before I leave this world, I leave this word with you:
Read your Bible. Pray. Obey God in all you do."
"If you leave behind a legacy, you'll leave as though
you never left."
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING:
"Everyone's purpose is lifelong; and it is to have a relationship with God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, to grow in knowledge of Him, to love Him and others, to imitate Him, and to serve Him."
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING:
"Loud and wild is the devil's crowd, but quiet and calm is God's child."
"Get your soul under control; like a child, it needs to grow."
"Don't live by your feelings; live by the Word of God."
"Be careful what goes in your eyes and ears; you don't want to poison your spirit."
"When we struggle with sin disease, we need frequent "spiritual self-examinations;" same as people with chronic conditions receive more doctor check ups. And those who keep sin disease in check by maintenance of practicing God's Word, need less examinations."
"As my faith grows, fear goes."
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING:
"The devil no longer fears Christians
because Christians no longer fear the LORD."
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING:
"If I focus on myself, I bear no fruit, and get nothing done.
If I focus on Jesus, I bear lots of fruit, and get everything done."
"God doesn't want us to be idle, but to be about doing the Father's business, being fruitful unto every good work."
ANTICIPATING THE RAPTURE;
"If we're still here, there's still work to do."
"As children of God, and like children of a "good" earthly daddy, we are eager, filled with excitement, and anticipation to be taken on a trip, to a place that will far exceed what our small minds can comprehend - our Father's surprise!"
"We're one day closer to Glory."
"If the race seems long, keep holding on."
(see RAPTURE MESSAGE page - My Most Recent Dream & poem)
(see RAPTURE & ENCOURAGEMENT page - "Keep Going" poem)
"Whiners can't be winners, and winners can't be whiners."
WISDOM/OVERCOME CONDEMNATION:
"Don't beat yourself up over what you've done;
what matters is JESUS, and what He's done."
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in
Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but
according to the Spirit.
(Romans 8:1)
WISDOM/TEMPTATION/MIND/WORDS:
"The devil suggests thoughts in your mind,
to see if you will obey;
for sin opens doors for him to come in,
by the evil you do and say."
Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
(Proverbs 21:23)
"God has given us a mouth to breathe, to smile, to laugh, to kiss, to whistle, to sing, to blow bubbles, to pray, to enjoy food and drink, to educate, to socialize and communicate, to comfort and encourage others, to tell stories, to read God's Word, and to speak as if God was speaking through us.
But sadly, we use our mouths to frown, to express anger and dislike, to blow smoke, to speak all sorts of evil - to yell, to cuss, to lie, to gossip and slander, to hurt others, to talk negative and complain, to overeat, to consume bad addictions, and to speak as if the devil was speaking through us."
And the tongue is a fire, a world of wickedness. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles (spreads its evil through) the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.
(James 3:6)
"Everyone is a slave to someone: The Holy Spirit, self, or the devil. "
We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.
(1 John 5:19)
For you are a slave to whatever controls you.
(2 Peter 2:19)
WISDOM/TEMPTATION/MIND:
"The Battle in Me"
The real battle in life is in the mind;
The devil fights to make me blind.
So I pick up my sword, and on my knees,
God's Word and prayer meets my needs.
------------------------------------------------
"Without Me, You Can Do Nothing"
(John 15:5)
Sometimes, I say things I shouldn't;
try to think good thoughts, but couldn't;
had opportunity to give, but wouldn't...
Oh, why do I do the things that I do,
and not do the things I ought?
I am my own worst enemy;
In my mind is where I've fought.
So, I pick up my Bible, and hold it tight,
open it up, and do what's right;
The Holy Spirit gives me might.
God in me will help me fight.
By Jennifer Lynn O'Connor
SADNESS/WORRY/POOR:
"If I look around, I get down. -
If I look up, I won't give up. -
If I look within, I hope again."
("The Kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21)
("Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven." Matthew 5:3)
(see "HELP THE HOMELESS" page)
"JESUS is Master; He always takes care of His own."
DEPRESSION/SUICIDAL:
"If your heart is beating, God wants you here."
"If you look at your fingerprints, you'll catch a glimpse
of how wonderfully unique, and one of a kind you are,
out of all the people ever born or ever will be."
"Don't think you're an accident or a mistake
or think you have no purpose or worth;
you have fingerprints that no one else has -
from your Maker, given to you at birth."
*If you struggle with jealousy
(comparing yourself with others), please be encouraged -
You do have a purpose:
The Father has set a course before you, designed exclusively for you to travel; He has planned tasks for you that are yours alone to complete. And He has given you exactly what He intended for you to have as the gifts, background, and abilities needed to fulfill His purposes for you. You know that person you keep comparing yourself to? That person would never be able to complete the plan God has for you. Because the Father has created you for that role. *By Dr. Charles F. Stanley
Prayer: "Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to be all that You created me to be, in Jesus name. Amen."

"Be Thankful"
Be thankful for your family and friends;
some of us have not many.
Be thankful for the money you have;
some of us have not any.
Be thankful for the years you've lived;
some of us may not have many.
Be thankful for expensive things in life;
some of us have not any.
Be thankful for happy moments;
some of us have not many.
Be thankful for strength in your body;
some of us have not any.
Yet, He says that I'm a friend of God, (Romans 5:10-11 NLT)
and He'll provide for my need. (Philippians 4:19)
He says I can do all things through Christ, (Philippians 4:13)
and with His stripes, He healed me. (Isaiah 53:5)
(see WISDOM page for a poem I wrote many years ago, also titled, "Be Thankful")
WISDOM/TRIALS/PAIN/HARDSHIPS:
"Without pain, there's no baby."
"If it wasn't for my trials, I wouldn't be half as strong as I am today."
For God told me in a dream once, "Your trials make you strong."
"There's purpose behind pain."
"The baby always comes after the pain."
"If you push through your pain long enough and
hard enough, you'll eventually birth God's next
plan for your life."
"Trials birth something new in your life, and where
there's a birth, there's a growth."
"God is up to something in our pain, and understanding
of it only comes when we look back in life."
"Don't you see? ... God is trying to develop muscle in you!"
"Without pain, there would have been no redemption."
Christ suffered and died for sins once for all.
(1 Peter 3:18)
"If Christ went through pain, what makes us think that we shouldn't?
And if Christ didn't complain, what makes us think that we should?"
"No matter the times I get knocked down,
what counts is I get back up."
(see PERSEVERANCE page - poem, "The Fight of my Life")
"Even if I have to limp my way to the goal,
by God, I'm gonna finish my race!"
"It's a miracle I've made it this far,
after all I've been through.
Yes, it's a miracle to be alive...
God has more for me to do."
"God never wastes a pain - if we walk with Him through it;
the greater our pain, the greater our impact."
"Don't be hard on yourself; everything takes time.
If it takes time for a baby to grow, a tree to mature,
and a caterpillar to transform, then why should we
be in a hurry, and expect to change overnight to meet
God's approval? Yes, take one day at a time with God;
if He's never in a hurry, then why should we?"
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
(Philippians 2:13)
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
(Romans 12:2)
"The more I feel my body dying, the more I want to help people, and keep trying."
"Had it not been for my trials and suffering, I wouldn't be much of service to Christ; I wouldn't be able to understand others, and feel their pain."
"I'm like the runt in a litter - different from the rest;
rejected by my mother, barely making it out alive...barely survived."
"For me, if it wasn't for my pain, I would had
never pushed myself out of my comfort zone;
and had the courage to go out, and face the unknown."
"If we're always comfortable - we'll never move -
we'll never act - we'll never change -
we'll never do anything for God.
So, sometimes, we gotta go through pain -
we gotta feel pressure; because without it, we'll never grow."
"The greater one's sins before Christ, the greater one's love for Christ now."
"As a bulldog holds on with a bite,
so I hold on to God's Word, and fight!"
WISDOM/SUFFERING FOR BEING A CHRISTIAN:
"Better to be in your own company, than to be in bad company."
WITNESSING/SAVING SOULS:
"The broken in heart are ripe for the Gospel. Let's seek and save the lost, through the help and power of the Holy Ghost."
"Hurting people hurt people,
so I comfort the broken and lost;
I step into muddy water,
for Christ is worth the cost."
...
"Stepping Into Muddy Water" Witnessing
I will share some ways in my own life, where I've personally, stepped into "muddy water" for Christ:
"Christ's love compelled me to give a brand new, very warm blanket I had just bought for myself, to a homeless man who lived under a bridge; Christ's love compelled me to travel to a very dangerous and poor part of the city, and walk, alone and unarmed, towards the homeless, to share the love of Christ...relying on the Lord's protection, one man, who loved his drink, had lost his bottle, grabbed onto my arm very tight, and thought I took it - by the grace of God, he found it, and he let me go, but it was Christ's love that stretched my faith to just reach "one more" for Him, no matter the cost; after our talk, I left making sure that Christ was on his mind and heart. Christ's love compelled me to give Children Bibles to the kids, regularly, at a homeless shelter, to spend time with them, and to share the love of Christ. Christ's love compelled me to have a long conversation with a lost, elderly man, and a very cold-hearted, elderly woman, on two separate occasions, as they both voiced their rejection of Christ; although, I was unsuccessful with the woman - I still prayed for her, and hoped that God saved her before she died. And although the elderly man continued to give me all the reasons why he didn't believe, still, I persevered in love, and he finally gave me his word that he would try the Bible again. Christ's love compelled me to regularly, stop at a gas station to gently guide a back-slidden Christian who worked there, back on the right path. Christ's love compelled me to give a stranger a ride, who was just given his day to be free from the detention center; he ran to the car, with a limp, carrying on him a huge smile. (I had been trained to recognize the leading of the Holy Spirit.) He told me that he had just made a commitment to Christ to start living completely for Him. Christ's love compelled me to, twice, contact a famous heavy metal musician, urging him to repent, as God gave me a terrifying dream of him going to Hell. Christ's love compelled me to stop and talk to people in parking lots, stores, parks, wherever I am led, and my message was, and is always - Christ. Christ's love compels me to seek out hurting Christians who post their prayer requests, problems, and/or need of advice, and it's always an honor and pleasure to encourage them and pray for them; and to seek out those who are lost and broken, so I can extend Christ's love to them. There's been times where I was able to stop a person from committing suicide. Christ's love causes me to witness when given the opportunity, He gives me open doors, and ideas, guides me, and brings people along my path, all the time. Christ's love compels me to give Bibles, money, water, food, or clothes, when I had/have it to give. Yes, Christ's love compels me to love others, and one way I can love, is also through my ministry - this website. I just want to give my life away because Christ gave His away."
*From the HELP THE HOMELESS" page...
Years ago, I had the opportunity to
minister to a beautiful, young woman
at a homeless shelter. Her heart was
broken, yet tough; her face was
downcast, with no emotion. I talked
to her about Jesus. I encouraged her,
that, although, she may be poor down
here, she is rich up there. I gave her
the perspective that there were many
other homeless people outside of this
shelter, living under bridges, enduring
the cold or heat, the rain, and no water
or food to eat. I looked up and pointed
up, helping her to see the bright side,
that there was, indeed, a roof over our
heads. I pointed up again, to reassure
her that Heaven was her home - not
this world. Her soul is priceless - and
there's nothing more valuable than a
person's soul. All that pain that Jesus
endured for us, was all worth it to Him.
She didn't say one word while I spoke,
yet her eyes were fixed on me the whole
time. When I visited the homeless
shelter, never did I come empty-handed
- if I did, I'd at least carry my smile with
me, a heart full of love, and a message
about Christ. I asked her if she would
like a Bible, as I had several with me of
her choosing. She chose the pink one...
they always chose the pink one. When
I saw her the next time, she was walking
with a group of new friends, holding
the pink Bible in her hands. There was a
big, warm, smile on her face - so
much joy! And she told me how she had
shared Jesus with others, and now they
all attend the church service there.
I'll never forget it.
Once, when my oldest son was 6 or 7 years old,
he asked a lady at the store, "Do you know Jesus?"
Little did he know, as I discerned her response,
she was shocked at his question, and offended.
Later, I told him that she will always remember
that moment...and Heaven only knows if he left a
footprint on her heart. ♥
Inspirational Quote:
"If God can use a child, surely, He can use me."
SPIRITUAL MATURITY:
"There's nothing about me to boast; for if I bear any fruit at all - that's the work of the Holy Spirit."
"If I've grown...I've gotten out of my comfort zone."
"Ask God to give you great boldness to preach the gospel, and you'll be amazed at what He'll do through you."
WISDOM/END OF LIFE:
"At the end of your life, what do you think matters;
what you did with "your" name or what you did with
His Name?"
SURRENDERED PRAYER:
"Lord, I in You and You in me;
may we be one in unity."
(see BODY, SOUL & SPIRIT
and GOD'S LOVE page - poem, "The Words to Say I Love You" -
My first Christian poem written, nearly twenty years ago)
"Lord, take me out of this vessel, so there's nothing left.
Then fill Yourself in me, so only You is left."
"Lord, let me not live today if I don't live it for you."
"God, strip off this "flesh" so I give my heart away.
Help me, Lord, to love more and more, alway.
Amen."

"Prayer Poem for Little Ones"
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for taking care of me every day.
Please make me like Jesus in every way.
Help me to love and to obey.
Please keep me safe in sleep and play.
Amen.

Inspirational Quote for Kids:
"Pray before you play."
----------------------------------------------
"You'll Miss Them When They're Gone"
You'll miss them when they're gone -
You'll miss them in a song -
And think of all you've done wrong -
Don't fail to love them, though life seems long -
Spend time with them now before time is gone -
In Heaven, with them, is where you belong -
Yet, their spirit is with you, all along -
Oh, please love them now before they're gone.
By Jennifer Lynn O'Connor

"Nothing Satisfies"
Nothing satisfies -
even if I make money all day;
eat all day;
sleep all day;
play all day;
shop all day;
Even if I pray and read my Bible all day...
If I don't do what God commands me this day -
and I love myself more than anyone today,
nothing will satisfy until I've loved today.
By Jennifer Lynn O'Connor

"Gifts and Time"
God gives gifts and time, to live life fulfilled.
A gift should be used; never kept hidden or still.
Spending our time wisely, according to God's will.
Take heed, the enemy comes to destroy and kill.
To throw away gifts, and waste time - he'll steal.
If I do nothing with it...how would God feel?
Even time is a gift.
"Making the most of your time." (Ephesians 5:16)

-------------------------------------------------------------
"Selfless Prayers"
"When we pray not for ourselves, but for others, too -
That means we're praying how God wants us to.
When we pray for the world, and salvation of souls -
That means we feel God's heart, and our love grows.
When we pray for those who hurt us in some way -
That means we're like Jesus on the cross when He prayed."
There they crucified Him. (Luke 23:33)
Moreover, even on the cross, He forgave, saved, and gave! On the cross…
Christ prayed for His enemies,
forgave what they’ve done,
saved a criminal, and
gave His mother a son.
(see the "The Cost of Souls" page - (Scriptural Story)
Here's another example of praying for those who hurt us, according to Scripture:
And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
(Acts 7:59-60)
WISDOM/GODLY LIVING/FORGIVING OTHERS:
"If we should forgive those who hurt our bodies,
how much more should we forgive those who
only hurt with words."
(Christ prayed for those who crucified Him, and Stephen prayed for those who stoned him to death.)
"Offense throws punches, but praying takes the hit;
It shields our heart to forgive and forget."
...JESUS forgave and forgot for you...
Turn away from evil and do good.
Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
(Psalm 34:14; 1 Peter 3:11)
LOVE does not demand its own way.
It is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
(1 Corinthians 13:5)
SOMETIMES, IT'S GOOD TO STEP BACK FOR A WHILE, DURING A DISAGREEMENT:
(for our enemy - the devil, will try to sow strife)
"Time helps our hearts to feel.
Talking helps our hearts to heal."

"Our Bodies Are Like Cars"
As cars end up in junk yards, so our bodies in the grave.
When our bodies break down, we'll return to the One Who gave.
As we age and gain mileage, and show the wear and tear,
we must maintain our vehicle, and make sure we have air.
Our bodies are like cars, and is the only one we get.
Let's take care of ourselves...and the Manufacturer, let's not forget.

"R.I.P."
Why are thou not at peace with thy Maker,
nor with self and man...Oh, why?
If thou consider thy heart this day,
thou will rest in peace when thou die.
"Be reconciled with God. Be at peace with Him." (Job 22:21)

"May I Ask You Some Questions?"
*A poem written in the month of May,
yet a call to examine our lives for every day.
Have you prayed for someone today?
Did you help the weak yesterday?
Have you encouraged someone along the way?
Did you give some money or clothes away?
Have you rushed past a loved one or did you stay?
Did you lift up someone with kind words to say?
Have you enjoyed the young in life who play?
Did you serve self or someone else this May?
God, strip off this "flesh" so I give my heart away.
Help me, Lord, to love more and more, alway.

"God, Help Me"
(Prayer Poem)
Dear God, help me to live for you,
and to pray, and read my Bible for you.
Help me to work with my hands for you,
and to treat others with respect for you.
Help me to slow down, and love someone for you,
and may my pleasures in life be only for you.
Help me to give to the poor, and witness for you,
and to use my gifts to serve others for you.
Amen.

"Focus"
IF YOU FOCUS ON YOUR PROBLEMS,
THE BIGGER IT WILL BE.
IF YOU FOCUS ON THE NEWS,
IT WILL GET SCARY.
IF YOU FOCUS ON OTHERS,
YOU'LL FIND ENVY.
IF YOU FOCUS ON YOURSELF,
YOU'LL BE LONELY.
BUT IF YOU FOCUS ON GOD,
AND SEEK HIS FACE;
HE'LL TAKE YOUR FEARS AND SINS,
AND ERASE.

"Run, and Don't Look Back"
I don't wanna FOCUS on this body - It's dying.
I don't wanna FOCUS on this world - It won't last.
I FOCUS on God's Word - It endures forever.
I FOCUS on things above - Not my past.

"Forget the things that happened in the past.
Do not keep thinking about them.
Do not dwell on the past." (Isaiah 43:18)
"Set your mind on things above." (Col. 3:2)
"Forgetting those things which are behind..." (Phil. 3:13-14)
"Let us run with patience (perseverance/endurance) the race
that is set before us." (Hebrews 12:1)

"We're here as writers and actors of our movie.
We're here as writers and authors of our book.
When we stand before God, He'll review,
and ask questions, as He takes a look.
And if our story shows love in any way -
If it ends in glorifying the LORD,
then when we pass from here to there,
we'll receive our reward."
By Jennifer Lynn O'Connor
Inspirational Quote:
"Before there was time, we were predestined to play in God's Story on Earth, as preplanned/prearranged characters. Believers, today, have assigned roles, and assignments to fill, as we're living near the end of His Story - His Redemption Story."

"We Need Each Other"
I'm here for you, and you're here for me;
you're ears to hear, and I'm eyes to see.
I'm hands to work, and you're legs to walk;
you're lungs to breathe, and I'm mouth to talk.
I'm nose to smell, and you're heart to beat;
you are my head, and I am your feet.
We are the body, and we are one;
we are Christ's, God's only Son.
